Okay…I’m totally reading too much into it. They’ll never bring down “the man” behind the conspiracy because the man is basically just a facilitator of those elements. Each character is a direct product of their environment and the “detectives” are basically deconstructing the core problems of their world. Season 2 – LA: sex, vanity, ambition, narcissism, etc. Season 2 – the South: right-wing religion, cults, macabre, etc. The show seems to be about the underworld around each setting and the big conspiracy formed based on its elements. Everything is finally coming together and I can see the world they’re building. I disagree with most of the armchair critics on the internet. I’ll easily concede that the first season is better, but that season IMO is one of the best seasons in all of television. “Amanda Waller” bringing the band back together in secret and making a side deal with Colin Farrell. I think my favorite scene was basically the Suicide Squad round up. i put a list of 50 or 60 i wanted to see together i’d post it but this post is already too long 😀 Last year i watched a bunch of 40’s films for the first time and this year was supposed to be 50’s but it hasn’t worked out. Take out the shoot out and the last two episodes have been very average. Andrey Konchalovskiy won the Silver Bear at Venice last year for his latest. Kurt, the guy who directed Tango and Cash did make more films after that, many more.
